In January 2017, PRACE - the Partnership for Advanced Computing in Europe - has published four best practice guides. One of which, we would like to explicitly recommend: It offers best practices on Intel Xeon Phi, second generation (KNL) and is of great value to all DEEP-ER application developers and application engineers interested in the DEEP projects architectures. It deals with many aspects amongst others the Intel MIC architecture in general, programming models, debugging, tuning, performance analysis etc., and it offers detailed insights on European Xeon Phi based systems.
