Together with our European Exascale Project (EEP) partners DEEP and DEEP-ER will co-host a satellite event at this year's PRACEdays15 at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin, Ireland.

On Tuesday, May 26 2015, the six EEP projects – CRESTA, DEEP/-ER, EPiGRAM, EXA2CT, NUMEXAS and MontBlanc – offer a compelling conference programme titled "Enabling Exascale in Europe for Industry". In six sessions the projects will share project successes and demonstrate how their research efforts may benefit industry in Europe.

The DEEP and DEEP-ER projects will focus "innovative exascale architectures in the light of user requirements" in their session. DEEP/-ER project manager Estela Suarez will explain the basic architectural concept. Her introductory talk will be followed by two DEEP/-ER use cases: Our industry partner CGG will talk about seismic imaging in the oil and gas industry and our partner CERFACS on computational fluid dynamics. These two use cases will clearly demonstrate the potential the DEEP architecture offers at exascale, not least for industrial users.
